Hello Guys, hope you all are doing good?
In my previous post i wrote about getting my hair done. I finally did and i opted for the “African Threading hair style”!!!
Kinky hair dont care, 4c hair shrinkage is always real 😂 😜👍… Ready to go make my hair🙌
Some people see the African threading hair style as a local hair style … But, Let’s say growing up back in the days in Nigeria as a young girl, I see it as a local hair do but not any more 😉😜😂
- My hair sectioned and followed by wrapping my hair with the thread.
- Done!! Back view
5 days after 🙌, no more pain 😩😅😅😅😅
The threading technique is a very good alternative to heat stretching especially for the 4c hair. The advantag is that you won’t have your hair damaged and it won’t thin away.
Secondly its also optimal for length retention.
- My sister adorning her threading hair style 😍😍👌
- Shout out to Riri Okoye who sent me these threads 🙌🙌🙌
Taking care of natural 4c hair can be very daunting that’s why the value and importance of Threading technique can’t be overemphasize especially for someone like me with 4c hair.
Back then in my secondary school in Nigeria, every Friday, the school head girl usually will announce a new hair style which we the girls have to make for the coming week and the hair style announced must be adhered to. The hairstyles can be either made in cornrows or using the threading method. “Threading hair styles” isn’t new to me. It really brought back beautiful memories after so many years.
I remember some funny names we call the threading hair styles, way back in Primary and secondary school.😉😅😅😅😅
The best hair style for me then was “three stars” but its hurts 😩😩😩😂😂😅😅😅
God help you if after making your hair you have to go fetch water omgggg! hmnnnnnnmmm 😩😩😩
Even though many believe it’s old fashioned like i did before, The African hair threading style is making a come back with very beautiful, funky, lovely styles as many women are transitioning to their natural hair.
